I made this for a friend's little girl.
Raising a five-year-old, a two-year-old, and a baby takes a lot of time and energy. But when I do get the chance, I like to craft. This is a record of those rare chances.

Froggie backpack
I started this quite awhile ago, but finally got around to finishing it up. I found the pattern on Ravelry. It turned out pretty cute, Audrey likes it. It is currently filled with play food :)
Outlander crochet cowl
This cowl was created by *gasp* knitting. Yes, I cheated on crochet :)
I really liked the look of the super chunky crochet cowls that have been popular lately, inspired by the Outlander tv show. The pattern for this one I found online. It was made using a basic garter stitch and holding two strands of bulky yarn together. (I had to look up online how to knit since it had been so long since I've done any knitting.) It also called for size 50 knitting needles. They were GIANT! But they were actually a lot of fun to use, and the cowl worked up quick. I also made a grey one for my sister, but forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to her.
Kitty crochet hat
A friend requested a kitty hat for her little girl, so this is what I came up with. I added some flowers in different colors to place by the ear to up the cuteness factor.
Newborn penguin hat
I browsed pinterest and found the perfect hat for Clara to wear this winter. I used my basic ear flap design for the body, then created some eyes, a beak, and a bow. It looks pretty cute on Clara if she will actually leave it on her little noggin :)

Sunny spread baby sized
I've used this pattern 3 times now. It's still one of my favorites. Instead of doing it all one color, I tried it out with two colors. I really like how it turned out. I'm keeping this one, it will be for our newest baby girl.
Little girl hats
I've had fun making a bunch of newborn hats recently. They're so quick, and yet so cute.
This one was for a friend's newborn little girl.
I figured our new little girl needed a new hat, too.
I can't wait for this little girl to come out so she can try it on!!
